BinStride puts a long-life tag on each roll-off and shows where it was last seen and when: at the jobsite, on a customer's street or back in your yard. The BinStride agent works like an extra person in your dispatch office, on 24/7: it checks every can against dispatch and follows up on the ones that don't match.

The problem
Every missing container is money sitting somewhere else.
01
Cans move without a record
A can gets dragged across the jobsite, pulled without a ticket or taken to another yard. Dispatch still shows the delivery address.
02
Cans sit idle
Cans left at finished jobs tie up money that could be out on rent.
03
Dispatch only knows what it's told
A swap logged against the wrong can number stays wrong until someone goes looking.

1
Attach a tag
Fix a long-life tag to each can, placed for steel and clear of hooks, rails, doors and the dumping path. Nothing to charge, pair or plug in.
2
Let the network detect it
When a compatible device passes nearby, at a jobsite, on a customer's street or in your yard, it picks up the tag and records the time and the place.
3
Locate it in BinStride
Search by can number, see where each can was last seen and when, and check it against what dispatch says.
4
Let the agent follow through
The agent checks every can against your dispatch list, tells your dispatcher what doesn't match, and follows up with customers about cans at finished jobs.
The BinStride network
The BinStride network picks up your cans wherever compatible devices pass nearby: at jobsites, on customers' streets and back at your yard, with no readers to install.
Each sighting comes with its time and place.

The BinStride agent
An extra person in your dispatch office, on 24/7.
Not another screen to watch. The BinStride agent is an AI agent that works like an extra dispatcher: it checks every can against your dispatch list, catches what doesn't match and follows up until it's fixed.
Checks every can's sightings against your dispatch list.
Flags cans not where dispatch says, swaps logged against the wrong can number, cans sitting at finished jobs and cans not seen in your window.
Tells your dispatcher, and on their OK fixes BinStride's records and sends the correction to enter in dispatch.
Asks customers whether a job is done, so the can can be pulled.
Assembles the incident report for a missing can.
Sends a weekly yard summary.
Answers "where's #127?" any time.
You decide what it sends on its own and what waits for your OK. Texts go only to people who've agreed to get them.

Recovery
When a container goes missing, start with better information.
Open the can's page: every place and time it was heard, newest first, next to the address dispatch has for it. The agent assembles the incident report: sightings, tickets, who it asked and what they said. That's a far better start for a call to the customer or a trip out than the delivery ticket. BinStride isn't live tracking, and it can't promise every can comes back.

Your dispatch software
Works alongside your dispatch software.
Keep running drops, pulls and swaps in the software you use now. BinStride doesn't do dispatch, billing or routing. Bring your dispatch list in as a CSV, and the agent checks it against where each can was last seen and tells your dispatcher what to fix. Export BinStride's last-seen list any time. Dispatch integrations are planned.

Why BinStride
Built for the way roll-off operators work.
The whole fleet, not a few cans
Built to be affordable enough to tag every can, not just the newest ones.
Nothing to charge
Designed for long life with no charging. We'll confirm battery life for the production tag before we quote it.
Placed for steel
Steel blocks and weakens the tag's signal, so placement and mounting are tested on your cans, clear of hooks, rails, doors and the dumping path.
Nothing at the jobsite
No readers to install at every site, and nothing for your customers to install.
An independent record
Each sighting has its own time and place, separate from what was typed into a ticket.
An extra dispatcher
The agent checks every can against dispatch and follows up, on 24/7.
Works with what you run
Your dispatch and billing stay as they are. Bring your dispatch list in as a CSV; dispatch integrations are planned.
Who it's for
One platform. Many container fleets.
BinStride tag
Dumpster rental companies
For owner-operators running 25 to 500 cans: see which cans aren't where dispatch says, and let the agent sort them out.
Waste hauling operators
For regional haulers with several yards and dispatchers: one view of every roll-off, and an agent on every mismatch.
Construction and demolition
For C&D haulers and contractors whose cans move around active jobsites.
Recycling and scrap
For yards whose containers sit at customers' sites for months.
Pilot program
Put BinStride to work on your fleet.
A BinStride pilot puts tags on part of your fleet, at the jobsites and yards you choose, with the agent working from day one, so you can see what BinStride does before you decide anything bigger.
A contact who can help place the tags and share a dispatch list.
Who the agent may contact, and what it may send on its own.
A short check-in as results come in.
What's in a pilot
25 to 100 tagged cans, chosen with you.
A mix of the places your cans go: jobsites, customers' driveways and your own yard.
The BinStride agent from day one: dispatch checks, follow-ups on finished jobs, incident reports and your weekly yard summary.
Placement and mounting tested on your steel cans, under your handling.
What BinStride saw at your jobsites and yards, reviewed with you.
Your dispatch list beside where each can was last seen, so mismatches stand out.
A review of what turned up and what the agent fixed, and a plan for the rest of the fleet if it's worth it.
Questions
Questions and answers
Plain answers, including what BinStride can't do.
The agent
What is the BinStride agent?
An AI agent that works like an extra person in your dispatch office, on 24/7. It checks every can against your dispatch list, flags what doesn't match, follows up with customers about finished jobs and sends you a weekly yard summary.
Who does it contact, and as whom?
Your dispatcher, and the customers you name, by email, or by text if they've agreed to get texts. Messages come from your office and say they're sent by the BinStride agent. You decide what it sends on its own and what waits for your OK.
How it works
How does BinStride track dumpsters?
A long-life tag on each can is picked up by compatible devices passing nearby. Each sighting records the time and the place, BinStride shows where each can was last seen, and the agent follows through from there.
Does BinStride use GPS?
No. There's no GPS receiver in the tag. Each sighting comes with the time and the place it was heard.
Can I see where a dumpster is right now?
You see where each can was last seen, and when. BinStride isn't live tracking: a can is picked up when a compatible device passes nearby, and each sighting comes with its time and place.
Will it work at jobsites, in driveways and out in the country?
There's nothing to install at a jobsite or a customer's home. Cans are picked up wherever compatible devices pass nearby. Put the kinds of jobs you run in the pilot, rural ones included, and we'll go through what BinStride saw there with you.
How accurate is the location?
Close enough to tell you which jobsite or yard a can was heard at, and on a residential street, about which block. Not which driveway or which corner of the lot.
I already have GPS trackers on some cans. Why add BinStride?
GPS trackers report from wherever a can is, and many operators put them on a few cans. BinStride is built to be affordable enough to tag every can, with nothing to charge, and the agent works the whole fleet.
Tags and cans
Does it work on steel dumpsters?
Steel blocks and weakens the tag's signal, so placement and mounting are the first things the pilot tests, on your cans. If a placement doesn't work, we'll tell you.
Will the tag get in the way of loading or dumping?
It goes where it's clear of hooks, rails, doors and the dumping path. We agree the spot with you and test it in the pilot.
What if someone removes the tag?
The can stops being seen, and BinStride shows where and when it was last seen. BinStride can't tell a removed tag from a can that simply hasn't been picked up since, which is why placement is one of the first things the pilot tests.
How long do the batteries last?
The tag is designed for long life with no charging. We'll confirm battery life for the production tag before we quote it.
Is it tough enough for roll-off work?
The tag is built for harsh handling, and it's tested on your cans, under your handling, in the pilot.
What sizes does it work with?
Roll-offs from 10 to 40 yards, and other steel containers you own. Tell us yours; placement is tested for each type.
Your dispatch software
Does it replace my dispatch software?
No. Keep running drops, pulls and swaps the way you do now. BinStride adds where each can was last seen, and the agent checks it against dispatch.
Does it work with my dispatch software?
Bring your dispatch list in as a CSV, and the agent checks it against where each can was last seen and tells your dispatcher what to fix. Export BinStride's last-seen list any time. Dispatch integrations are planned.
What it does and doesn't do
Will it tell me when a can moves?
When a can is last seen away from where dispatch has it, the agent flags it to your dispatcher and asks the customer. It doesn't tell you the moment a can moves.
Will it stop theft?
No. BinStride doesn't prevent theft. If a can goes missing, the agent assembles the incident report: where and when it was last seen, its tickets and your notes.
Pilots and pricing
How much does it cost?
It depends on your fleet size, the tag and mounting your cans need, and service terms. BinStride is built to be affordable enough to tag the whole fleet. Ask us about a pilot.
How do I get started?
Tell us about your fleet below, and we'll set up a short call about a pilot.
